Knight Young is a transgender artist and designer based in Seattle Washington. He finds inspiration from the concepts of connection, love, the inner self, and the sacred act of inhabiting a trans body. He produces work using a wide range of mediums while favoring found objects, viscous goopy materials, soft textiles, and the ways contradictory textures coalesce. His practice is an act of play, seeking the magic and wonder in reality and reflecting it visually to evoke curiosity and dare others to dream.
